The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for the design of custom automated packaging equipment that meets individual customer requirements. The ideal candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to meet deadlines and complete work accurately. Mechanical design engineers work in a manufacturing environment with in-depth hands-on involvement in product design and improvements, assembly drawings, layout drawings and bills of material. Requirements: Mechanical aptitude CAD design experience Organized Self-Motivated Desired Experience: Design of packaging and/or automated equipment AutoCAD 2011 Hands on maintenance/fabrication Project management Bottom line: 1. 3+ including very recent years of Mechanical Design of packaging equipment or other automated equipment.2.
